Ambiance was nice, the food was very good & healthy. However, the waitress was incredibly bitchy - cold, not smiling, answered every question curtly and would finish her sentence while walking away. I was horrified by her attitude. We desperately wanted the waiter of the table next ours who enchanted his diners with a kind of spoken-word version of the dessert menu.

RNM

Robert, the owner, is an absolute doll! The food is fantastic - don't miss the mac & cheese & pizzas. All my girlfriends & I went there for our Wig Wednesday tradition. A lot of other restaurants could have been freaked out by 14 women wearing strange wigs - but not RNM. They loved it. We loved them.

You See Sushi

My husband & I call this little gem, Cheap-bisu (given that it's only a few blocks from the amazingly good yet pricey Ebisu). Yummy fresh sushi (not the most inventive menu - but all the traditional favorites), friendly staff, minimal wait, and you'll think they made a mistake on the bill it's so low. The only drawback - if you like low salt soy sauce, bring your own or be prepared to water it down.

ANA MANDARA

While the ambiance was exotic and the service efficient, I have to give Ana Mandara a poor rating as the food was terrible and grossly overpriced. The meats did not taste fresh and the flavors and textures were not thought out. Complete tourist trap.

Sauce

Sauce is the perfect friendly neighborhood restaurant. Casual enough to stop in after work for a cocktail & chat with the friendly bartenders and .... nice enough to impress a first date without killing your wallet. Chef Ben rocks the kitchen with his maverick spin on reliable favorites. The mushroom fries will knock your knickers off - YUM. Dip into Sauce!
