Food is good, especially the non veg items and need to pay in cash only.
But there's something that's not really happy to feel about when one pays the bill.

After you've eaten here's a typical scenario you get when you stand in the queue to pay the bill to the bearded guy.
Scenario 1:when you go for the first time to Shalimar
Shalimar Fremont-
Assuming you've eaten food worth $22 and you expect to be charged the same, the guy will tell you your total is $23. You think, ok fine, he must have added the tip and told the amount.

Scenario 2:when you go next time to Shalimar
And now assuming you've eaten food worth $26 and you expect to be charged the same or $27, the guy who has talent for face recognition will tell you your total is $29. You ask, "can you check the order please", he repeats your order and tells Sir, your total is $29, now if you ask him how does that total up, he tells, that's the tax and tip Sir. He knows you will not argue or create a scene for 2-3$'s.
