this place rocks!!! take full advantage of the menu and don't forget to check out the daily specials. had the seared ahi tuna salad, deep-fried salmon roll, and grilled sea bass. each piece was a work of art. one of the best meals that i have had in this city. such a find in north beach. a little lacking in the ambiance department but definitely was made up for in the quality and presentation of the food.

Great little French bistro located right underneath The Metro Hotel. They have a great prix fixe $14-$16 for a 3 course meal. Yet, the real gem in my opinion is the wonderful garden in back. Enjoy, a leisurely breakfast while sipping on a mimosa and basking in the sun (well if you are lucky).

this is my neighborhood coffee shop. such friendly service, it is the kind of place you go and they know you by name and make you feel right at home. great place to grab a quick bite. high on my recommendation list is their soyrizo crepe, delicious. i am also a fan of their soups, especially the lemon chicken and the tortilla. oh, and did i mention free internet, if you are into that sort of thing.

i am consistently underwhelmed by this restaurant. i have tried and retried because my work is close and i was hoping it would be a good place to grab a quick bite for lunch or dinner. so disappointing. the food is lacking in flavor and far to much oil is used. i have received on more than one occasion over-cooked noodles and dried out veges. i really don't understand how this chain survives in san francisco.

this place is so hit or miss. i absolutely adore the chicken sandwich served at lunchtime very flavorful and it comes with spicy thin cut fries absolutely yummy. another plus is the great atmosphere and the well decorated decor. yet, i have been here for dinner with a number of friends and out of the 5 of us 3 of us had to send our plates back because our food was either overcooked or burned to a crisp. i would have to recommend for lunch but skip the dinner.

I would have to agree with iluomo on this place. I did overall have a great dinner but the price did not seem to fit the fare. I loved my crab cake but was a bit disappointed that I was able to finish it in three mouthfuls; the cake itself was the size of a fifty cent piece. I also enjoyed my seared ahi tuna but did not find it exceptional. The service was warm, friendly and attentive. Which makes it difficult to give it a neutral rating.
