Great location, outstanding food and wonderful service combine to make this a winner. The marscapone cheese appetizer was delicious and enough to share. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly and served with broccolini and white beans... yum. I went here for a friend's birthday and when we arrived, there was a hand-written birthday card and bottle of fizzy water waiting for her. Nice touch. I'd go back and also recommend this place for anyone with guests in town.

I can only speak for the desserts as that's all I had. The chocolate truffle purse is divine. Rich chocolate encased in a light filo wrapper paired with cassis couli and ice cream. Worth the trip. The atmosphere is a mix of casual and upscale; the decor is beautifully appointed with nice touches. A large group table with a view of the kitchen would make it easy to dine alone. The outdoor area should be open soon.

You can always count on Perry's for a lively bar scene. Great for watching sports and chatting up friends and neighbors. Service is prompt and friendly. The onion soup was excellent, lots of cheese and savory bread. The fish and homemade thick-cut chips is good but not great.

Excellent find in the Marina. The food, atmosphere and hospitality take you back to Greece (or give you the true feeling if you've not been there). Best bet is to share the wide assortment of mezes (appetizers). There were 7 of us and we enjoyed everything we tried - spanikopita, saganaki, chicken souvlaki, tzatziki and stuffed grape leaves. You may want to make reservations... it was packed on a Saturday night.

I haven't been to this one in a while but if it's anything close to the one in Santa Clara (El Camino and Lawrence Expressway behind the Fish Market), you're in for a treat. Cornmeal crust, generous toppings and huge drinks. The Untouchables is my favorite - barbecued chicken, yummm. It's hard to leave room for dessert but it's worth it. The brownie comes right out of the oven!

This is a place I take out-of-towners for a feel of a local haunt. Love the cozy quarters and the food never disappoints. Be prepared to wait, it does get crowded. The filo sampler (4 kinds) is a great deal and delicious. I agree on the chicken filo.

You can't beat the prices. Go at lunchtime for full selection. Shrimp and chive dumplings were good. Greens were pretty salty. Weekends draw long lines so go off-hours.

Fun, interesting and good food. BBQ at your table. Go with a group to try a few different items. The pork is very spicy and yummy. Went with a friend who has traveled to Korea many times and he thought it was the most authentic he's been to in the States.

At times, the best pizza I've had in the city. Thin crust, lots of cheese. Perfect pizzeria decor - checkered tablecloths, chianti bottles and plastic grapes hanging form the ceiling. Nice wait staff.

Earns its reputation as the city's most romantic restaurant. Charming decor and the souffles are amazing. Share a savory one for dinner and leave room for the chocolate souffle for dessert. It's like a spoonful of chocolate-flavored air. Memorable.

You can't go wrong here. The food is consistently outstanding and the service and decor are worth the trip out to the Avenues. My favorite is the shrimp wrapped in noodle with a sweet/sour/hot sauce (it's #56 or #58). Everyone who's had it, loves it! Wear your good socks... you have to take your shoes off.

Beautiful decor, good service. The food was very good. The roasted corn soup is silky and the guac is yummy. Save room for the empanadas for dessert... or just go for them! They're outstanding.
