Went with friends intending to go to the Chinese place a couple of doors down, but they were closed for the High Holy Days. Didn't have reservations and place was packed, but they were very, very nice. Sat us at the tiny bar. Had nice kir royales waiting for a table. Their specialty is cassoulets (which our friends have had and love), but none of us had it. Everything was excellent. Small but ample portions.Good wines by the glass as well.

I'm pretty neutral about the wait staff, in spite of the fact they forgot about part of my order. Service is adequate, but it doesn't match the food or the prices. Took our dessert order, but never asked if we wanted coffee. Only way to get refills on the ladies kir royales was to wait until they brought the entrees - they ignored us up to that point. Dinner was outstanding from the appetizers to the entree to the desserts, but I strongly suggest they hire staff based on experience and capability rather than their French accent.

After eating here on a day trip to Napa, we returned with friends just returned from France. The menu is heavily influenced by typical French bistros and the decor reminded our friends of their time in Dordogne. Everything we tried on the menu was outstanding - steak tartare, sole meuniere, cassoulet, coq au vin, the appetizers. The frites are delicious and charmingly served wrapped in paper in a water glass. Wine list is limited, but a good variety of choices. Most patrons in Napa bring their own recently purchased bottle anyway. The large dessert list made choices very, very hard, but everything from the citron sorbet to the tartine was delicious and beautifully presented. Nice, but small bar area with a really engaging bartender. Great place for lunch as well with an outdoor patio available. Reservations are certainly suggested, but you can often get in for an early dinner without them (especially before the tourist season).

The main restaurant (there is a 'garden' out back which is often open on good days especially for brunch) holds about 50 - so reservations are really important. Industrial space is creatively and wonderfully decorated and the staff is friendly and helpful. Food is also creative and well-presented. Loved our appetizers (ravioli and beet salad), but the fish entree was slightly overcooked making it drier than would have been perfect. Accompaniments were delicious (rice, grilled vegs). The ravioli as a main course was fantastic. Small wine list, but appropriate to the menu. Street parking only, but abundant before 9 pm. Very easy access to and from the 101 and 80 freeways. We will definitely return to try the brunch.

Eclectic furnishings and overwhelmingly female patrons don't detract from the endless pot of tea, great sandwiches, and crumpets unlike any other. Very casual. Very friendly service. I just wish the tea cups had a handle I could get my finger through. Make reservations on the weekend.

Its fast food and it really is fast. The line moves well and the food is very good, but its still take-out (even when you eat there). The enchiladas were good and the sides (beans/rice)were tasty.

Other than the parking problem - this is a great, comfortable, casual place with excellent food and service. The specials are just that and the food ranges from American standards to interesting variations using seasonal ingredients. Menu changes regularly.

The free valet parking and the fresh and innovative sushi/rolls are the definite draw here. The service is lackluster and the waitresses usually get something on your order wrong. The white tuna (albacore) tataki is great, but pricey.

As most of the reviews are regarding the pizza and delivery, I thought I'd put in my two cents on the restaurant. Service is friendly and fairly quick. The Indian food is great. Small portions - but a group can order 1 item each and end up with plenty for all to share. Food is as good as Roti on West Portal and much cheaper. Sometimes hard to park in neighborhood. A large Taj Mahal for two goes well with the meal.

Sure its pricey for a place that looks and acts casual - but its hard to find the selection of fine and unusual teas elsewhere. Better yet, the tapas sized entrees are perfect for a mid-morning nosh. $20 buys good tea and enough eats to hold you through the afternoon. The food is varied and well-prepared with some nice surprises in their take on some standards (cucumber sandwich with goat cheese instead of cream cheese - delicious!).

$25-30 per person (incl wine) will get you a variety of dishes to share. Everything is excellent, service is great, and the decor is very attractive. Crowded and noisy and definitely get reservations. The Biryani dishes are perfect and the sheesh kebab is fantastic. Really nice being able to share many dishes as you would in a good Chinese place.

Have had multiple lunches and dinners here with friends, co-workers, clients, and potential employers. Always impresses the ones who haven't discovered it yet. Good food, good service. Very nice views and ambiance. Nice bar with attentive bartender. Prices are reasonable given the locale and quality. Love the upstairs room.

I don't consider this a great restaurant, but the decor is kitschy without being overdone and the food is good. Prices are o.k. for lunch, but a bit pricey at dinner. I wouldn't select it as a regular recommendation, but its good enough to be positive about.

4 star - its not even a 3 star restaurant although it has 3 star prices. Nothing awful to say about the Cheesecake Factory (except for the tourists, noise level, and frequent long waits). Food is nothing special, service is adequate, ambiance is chain restaurant standard. With all the other great choices at all price levels available, I just can't imagine why anyone would end up here.

The yakiniku menu is not to be missed. You have to know your beef cuts to get the best stuff, but the sauces and grilling really give the meat and veggies a great flavor. Fast service and friendly staff.

Superior and generous coffee with a broad range of pastries, cakes, and cookies to choose from. Great breads as well - especially the foccacia. Two for 1 specials in the afternoon. The carrot cake is sumptuous and spicy without being too sweet. Love to hang out there and watch the foot traffic.

O.K. the burger patty itself is no better than In&Out or Jonny Rocket's, but the variety of fixins', buns, etc. is what makes this burger experience standout. The curly fries are fantastic. Service is sit-down burger o.k. Going here ensures you'll never get bored with having a 'burger.'

If you want a burger, fries, and an old-fashioned malted, you could do a lot worse. Never had a bad burger here. Nothing fancy or special about it - even the decor is pretty ordinary for this sort of place. There are better restaurants on Fillmore, but no one with better burgers.
