Positive Simple, but good. This place doesn't do anything fancy, it just does breakfast right. Nice portions and good prices. Don't get there too late or you'll be waiting outside for a table (the place is tiny). Someone in your party has to order the pancakes, everyone else will be very appreciative. Positive Nothing fancy, but great food, comfortable atmosphere, and very friendly staff. Some of the dishes are a bit spicy (I'm a wimp in that regard), but everything's fresh, well seasoned, and the portions are good. Don't miss the fries and someone in your group has to order the jerk chicken. The drinks are fine and the prices are better than one would expect considering it's a block from SBC Park and the neighborhood is gentrifying at an alarming rate. Review #8716 Primo Patio Cafe

Positive All the classic breakfast foods plus some California style originals. The food was plentiful and tasty. The blueberry pancakes were kinda dull, but everything else was grubbin'. Not for those who are watching their calories or their carbs. Parking can be a headache and though the place is spacious, there can still be a line around 11:30am or so on weekends. Prices are very reasonable, but the service was lackluster though friendly. Review #8715 Pork Store

Positive This place has a fun, classic atmosphere (lots of wood and brass and lots of well heeled, pretty people), the entree portions are generous, the food is well seasoned (rich sauces, fresh seafood, and thick, tender cuts of meat). The drinks were good but expensive. The service was friendly, but not very attentive. Try to get a booth. Though the menu is a little pricey, I think it's the best Cajun food in SF and the meals are tasty and very filling. Take a cab or factor in a half hour or so for parking. Review #8712 Elite Cafe

Positive Fresh seafood, beautiful presentation, good mixed drinks, a comfortable environment, and delicious desserts, what's not to like about Roy's. The neighborhood can be a little odd and the prices can feel high, but the food makes everything worthwhile. All the appetizers were tasty, the poketini and the ribs are a must. The butterfish is awesome, as are the scallops, the lamb, and the pork porterhouse. Review #7657 Roy's

Positive Expensive, yes, but wow this place is amazing. The service was efficient, warm, and informative without being snobby. As for the food, it was terrific. I did the 4 course pris fixe dinner. The prawn risotto, the salmon, the lamb, and the lobster were all beautifully presented and tasted fabulous, but the seared scallops with mushrooms were simply the best dish I've ever eaten in my life. The waiters knew it was my birthday and took steps to make me feel special. Overall, just a great experience. Next to Fresh Cream in Monterey, this was one of my best dining experiences ever. Negative The place was so loud you couldn't have a decent conversation. The food was bland and kind of boring (my girlfriend didn't even eat hers). For the money, there are just too many other great restaurants in SF to waste you time with this one. Review #6785 Moose's

Positive Huge portions, down home atmosphere, friendly and efficient waitstaff. The Clam Chowder is perfect, the calamari is great, and the cioppino is chuck full of delicious, fresh seafood. Review #6784 Old Clam House (The)
