Over all one of the best meals I have had in the city in a long time. The food was delicious. We had the pate, and the shrimp, and the cured meats for starters. Very filling and really good. I had the lamb chops which was really great. Our server (Adam) was very attentive and the service was really great. Deserts were okay, not the best. One drawback is the acoustics are very bad, it was hard to have a conversation at times. Overall I would give a 9 out of 10.

This is a great place to bring out of town guests to. I love it here. Last Friday I brought my mom, sister and her husband here. The service was quick and really good. Food was the best I have had in quite a while. I had the mushroom steak medium well, sis had the pepperd steak, the husband had a pizza and Mom had the pesto ravioli. The food was served with soup or salad. 10/10 all around for all courses. It is also not too expensive either. The only draw back is the have live music which was too loud as it is a small restruant.

It has been a while since I have eaten here, and I now remember why. The server was rude and obnoxious. The food was cold and tasteless. I had cold French toast with a dribble of cold syrup. Coffee was worse than dish water. It is a shame that such a crappy restraunt is in such a cool part of town.

Just came back from having dinner at Q. WOW! It was awesome! It has been a long time since I really enjoyed comfort food like this. I had the meat loaf, with really great mashed potatoes and veggies. Service was quick and servers were very friendly. The decor is cool too. You have to go in to see for yourself.

Great atmosphere and really good food, however the service sucks, really, really bad! If you go for brunch, I would suggest to share the fruit plate, as it is huge. Food is in abundance, good portions and tastes great. Waiters are slow to top up water, or come with your drink order. The 'High Tea' is very expensive, I would suggest you take a zip lock bag or container with you to take some of the food home with you.

Really bad!, the servers didn't have a clue about the specials, were slow to take our order, and the food was really bland. I had the steak which was like a piece of rubber, and the veggies were served cold. I will not go here in a hurry.

I loved this place, the food was really great, service was quick and friendly. This is a really cozy place, I know I have been here before, but I just can't remember what restaurant it was before. It is reasonably priced the portions are medium sized but filling. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!: The waitress was rude and abrupt, ignored us for most of the time. She was too busy talking to another staff members. We had to wait for at least 20 mins before she took our order, and after eating she just threw the check on the table. We weren't asked if we wanted coffee or desert. Finally after waiting to pay our bill, I went up to the bar to pay. I have lived here for 18 years I just could not justify leaving a reasonable tip. I could not believe this woman or her behavior

I have eaten here several times, but last night 6/17/06 was the wrong night for me to go there. Food as always was superb, however the service was the worst I have received in a long time. The server should of stayed at home because you could tell she just didn't want to be there.

I have eaten here twice. The first time it was really great, there were four of us, and the food and service was great, waiter was friendly and relaxed. I had the chicken sandwich and a salad, it was really great....However, I went there alone on Thursday lunch time, different story. I was ushered over to a tiny table next to the waiters' station, and next to the restrooms. I asked if I could sit somewhere else and was told " No, all of our tables are for two or more!". Even though there were at least 5 empty tables (for two), I was stuck in this dingy corner. The food this time was not good. I had the same order except this time I had fries with it. Over all, the salad was soaked in dressing, and the fries could have slid of the plate they were so greasy. I don't think I will be eating there again for a while. At least not alone.

Great stuff; They have a great menu and have really good daily specials. I love the Tuesday's open meatloaf sandwich with salad. Really great, their burger royal is awesome, as is their spinach salad. But what ever you have you MUST leave room for the Ginger cake with pumpkin ice-cream.

One of the best restr aunts in the Mission. In fact in the city. I had a really great meal here two weeks ago. This is a family run restraunt, and the food is superb. I had the fish of the day, which was salmon with a ceaser salad and taramasu. I can not fault this restraunt at all.

I have always enjoyed this place. The food is really good; I usually have the Grandma's honey chicken, with mash potatoes with a small Caesar salad. The service is quick and the deserts are great! Great burgers and fries. I think the most important part of a meal is the potatoes. Yes I am Irish, and I get a lot of crap about that, but I love French fries, I would have them with every meal if I could. But last night I ate at Barney's in Noe Valley, I lived in the Castro for 6 years, and never knew it existed. I had the teriyaki burger with cheese and steak fries. It was great, burger was juice and tender, and the fries were crispy on the outside and nice ad fluffie in the inside. Great meal. Reasonably priced too.
Also, this is a great family style restaurant, great for kids and couples too. I would rank this as one of the best restaurant's in Noe Valley.

Poor, poor and poor. I was really disappointed with the fare at Luna last night. I have eaten here before, some years ago but last night was really bad. A group of us had the "All you can eat Spaghetti with garlic bread and salad". Bad choice, the salad was soaked in dressing and the meat sauce was really bitter. Someone else had the fish & chips, the fish was dry and the chips were soggy. Bad night for Luna, it will be a while before I go back.
