Great spot: friendly staff, nice ambiance, and food that is consistently good across the board. The chocolate and fruit tarts are not to be missed.
Hey lbraum: why do you say that friendly staff are rare at French restaurants? I hope you are not perpetuating the xenophobic point of view that the French are aloof or arrogant.

The food was decent, although California-ized (do they eat calamari and goat cheese naan in India?) Best dish I thought was the eggplant which had a nice flavor. However we won't be going back without earplugs. The noise is deafening. Why do new restaurants insist on putting in tile floors? Do people really enjoy having to yell at each other across the table? Methinks the novelty will wear off and that this place will be much less crowded in a year or so. In the meantime, order to go.
