The place is great to just hang out or sit down, but sadly, I think their desserts are just mediocre. They do have a wide variety, though, but overpriced for what you actually get.

Lots of quirky toys as decor. I was never too enticed by their dessert and food offerings, but it's a nice place to sit down and relax with a soothing cup of coffee or tea after a harrowing day of shopping on Clement.

I always got takeout or delivery from this location, and never had a complaint. Extra thick and delicious crust, layered with lots of cheese. My favorite is always their sausage pizza.

It's a must if you have visitors in town. If you have a group of at least 4, indulge in their Earthquake Sundae - 8 scoops of heaven, 8 different toppings, hot fudge, whipped cream... need I say more?

I went during the day when it wasn't crowded at all. The cofee was amazing, though expensive - great tasting Italian Ille coffee. Caffe Greco is a classic in North Beach, and their tiramisu is decadent.

Though good, the clam chowder is pretty typical - nothing too special, and it's also a chain restaurant. Very expensive compared with other options at the Wharf. I recommend perusing the other options in the area first.

I agree - their tacos are really good and the fish is extremely fresh. I would stick to the tacos though, I wasn't too impressed with their rice bowls. Although the portions are huge, the sauce (at least for the mahi mahi rice bowl)was too sweet and unfortunately permeated everything.
