I have been here twice and each time it was good. The chicken pot pie is deelicious and huge enough for two! The $14.95 roasted center cut pork was perfectly cooked and served with a side of chilled slices of apricot and peaches, red onions was nice too and it came with two small discs of polenta. yummy. The chocolate eclair is enormous--big enough for a man, but made for woman - - healty eating at its best. OMG filled with two kinds of whipped cream and covered with chocolate. house cab is decent too.

Tastey prime rib; ok baked potato , less ok is the salad, the standard salad is mediocre. The interior is boring, service is ok too. Kinda expensive for what you really get . Rather pay 50% more money for all around quality. But I didn't pay for my meal either.

Go here for BBQing your food; or get it done for you. I usually get the BBQ platters, about 18 dollars for do it yourself BBQ meal. The meat is good and the Kim Chee is real good too. Yummy. go early or suffer. There are two , the one closest to 6th avenue is the betta one. Bland interior , but the food is what's real. Stop Jonesing for it.

But I have a trick: I get here at 11:15am, when the food is just right and recently prepared. Yummy. Lunch is a deal for a set price.

I enjoyed my organic salad, it was very green, fresh looking and the shaved carrots were good too. The chardonnay is pretty decent for the money. I braved the wind and sat outside on a beautifuly blustery San Francisco day. The white puffy clouds greeted me as i grazed on my salad and sipped a tastey chardonnay.

the food can be good; pasta al dente, rich sauces are tastey as is the calamari. Usually lower quality food when its slow.
Food is much better when I've gone with a large group. Lots of kitsch, strewn all over.

Hallo, guten tag,
Just here last week, the schnitzel appeared to be breaded with 8 ounces of batter and deep fried twice; it tasted nasty. The warm red cabbage was ok. The Spaten bier ist fantastich. If you friends have not eaten German food take them here. The decor will wow them. Try schnitzelhaus , reviewed elsewhere .

I have been here once and thought it was tastey and the decor was nice too. I was accompanied by my friend and his wife who happens to be Burmese. I liked the food, she said it was not authentic and there were no other Burmese people eathing ; oh well, I'd go back any way. For me its different and tastey. check it out.

Well the view is superb of Ocean beach, the mushroom omelette was mediocre. Upon my first initial bite, I thought the mushrooms seemed old or canned. Even the eggs had some funky flavor. Too costly for this quality. Go there for view, beer. not breakfast.

Been in SF for 3 years now and have been to the other 2 german restaurants. Schnitzelhaus is my favorite german restaurant . The interior is full of light wood and warm feeling. The staff is courteous and the wait for food is reasonable for this quality. The sausages are tender and tastey; the lentils are good too. The Spatzle was good as well. On my next trip there I will have to try the jagerschnitzel. Treat yourself to the dark german bier; it has a chocolately taste and tiny carbonation. Yummy. Lunch is served only on fridays so you will have to wait.

I have been living in SF for 3 years now and was beginning to think Alhambra/monterey park were better for dime sum, However, My New favorite dim sum place is Gold Mountain. Located a good ten minute walk from the Financial District; Get there by 11am on the weekends for hot, fresh tastey dim sum. Try not to over indulge!!
Order a plate of Chow Fun with black bean sauce. Treat yourself to a small plate of Roast Duck ( you might have to ask for it ) Everything is tastey. The Shu-Mai, How Gow, Tripe, Chicken feet , Jelly fish are tastey, so is the Pai- Kwot . Try the rice wrapped in banana leaf. I'm getting hungry now.
