I had heard so much about this california cuisine palce btu i am sorry to say that i was truly disappointed. I had taken frinds who were visting SF and we all were nto very impressesd. the service is curt abd the food is surely nothing great. i was shocked to see that a place that claims its cusine as califirnian ona given day had PIZZA Margarita as its only option for vegeterians. I ordered the roast chicken which as they promised took 1 hour but it was trylu NOT worth the wait /
very pricy .

I was not superbly impressed with Koi Palace though the crowd is surely defying of their food and service. definitely make a reservation before you go or you can wait for upto hours on end. Dimsum is average the regular run of the mill items nothing as Innovative as my fav Yank Sing,
I actually prefer the Grand Palace seafood restaurant to Koi and the wait lines are less and food if not better is equally good.

I just returned from Paris and I have to tell you the crepes in the sidewalks of Paris are no match to the crepes at Ti Couz,. Ti Couz never fails to impress. on the weekend the wait can be up to an hour but it is totally worth the wait. my fav are the sweet crepes but the savory crepes are very popular as well.

this is truly comfort food. if you can ignore the ambience or lack there of the food is amazing. most of it is made to order, the tandoori chicken is one of the best I have had, the naan ( bread is great). the chicken tikka Masala an all time favorite is pretty good. the curry is very oily, the menu is pretty limited but food is very good.
cash only place, a very good place for take outs

The place has a great decor and perfect for a group sit down dinner kind of thing. food was at best OK very innovative but the potions were way too small for what we were paying. The service is great. reading the wine list would take a whole day. thankfully I did not have to pick up the bill at the end of this dinner. we had a good experience but I dont think I will go back. the group was very impressed at the service I must say.

Fun place for Tapas, sometimes the mariachi singers will perform for the guests which certainly adds to the experience. food is ok, love their spicy garlic sauce, somehow this place measures up to the stinking rose for the garlic experience. surely order a sangria.
good place for a big group

one of the few places serving dim sum in the evening but it is a la carte so if you want the experience of dimsum cart style go in the morning. Food is ok , on the expensive side, parking is a problem. the a la carte food is ok not very impressive, the decor is very good.

Great food, great ambience and great drinks. one of the best places in san Francisco. make sure to reserve to avoid waiting. they have a good bar with great sake cocktails which would not be very bad if you do need to wait. the pyramid tartare and the ritsu roll are AMAZING. for first time sushi goers this is the place to go. you will fall in love with sushi. for the not so adventurous kind they have a fairly big selection of cooked food.

I have been to both the Haight and Mission locations, the food in Haight is much better, the decor in the mission location makes it a very loud bar with no ambience , no differentiating factor about it, the wait staff is haight is to put it mildly RUDE, due to the high demand of this place they forget that they are in customer service. the food was good but did not compensate for the bad service. All in all a very bad experience.

I read the review for the restaurant and was quite excited to go there with a couple of friends, parking is a hassle but I the dinner experience would have been good then it would be all worth it. At the recommendation of the staff we decided to order the small plates , I am m sorry to say for about 10 bucks it was way to small. also the kitchen staff needs to read their own menu, the dishes in the menu had a pretty detailed description but the actual dish many of the ingredients like the " tiger prawns- 6 pcs for $12 was to come with Date Crostini, the crostini was missing and when we asked the staff they said the kitchen must have run out. the same thing with desert- the chocolate fondue with fruits nuts and dates came only with some fruits first, when we pointed out what the menu says the staff brought out some dates. do they expect the customer to remember exactly what they ordered and make sure they get it. its the basic thing you need to serve what you say you will!!!
