It's a standard deli. Walk in, pick out what you want off the line, chow down. It's cheap and fast. Good for a quick lunch when you're in a rush. There's a load of them downtown.

For whatever reason, this is the first bar I went to in the city. It has a nice patio and a decent drink menu. They have DJ's there sometimes too. The service can be a bit slow.

One of my top 5 restaurants in the city, no doubt. They have French basque cuisine that is truly worth leaving the house for. My friend had their pork and I had fish (can't remember what kind, opps!). Very good, and like their wine list too. Good appetizers.
The waiter did pull a "that is not champagne, it is only sparlking wine" when we asked for champagne recommendations from a list of California concoctions (duh, thanks!). But aside from that, good experience.

Greasy spoon, with extra grease, and chopsticks instead of a spoon. Had some good pho and sauteed vegetables here. In a very creepy neighborhood, but worth it. Has some interesting ooking ommade desserts in the fridge- didn't try one though because I pigged out on the aforementioned grub.

I've been here twice- once with my bf and parents, once with a group of girlfriends. The food is really good, light and fresh fare. I had the eggs florentine and it was light and good - a couple leaves of spinach, with egg and a small pool of sauce not a big goopy mess like some other places. They were very accomodating for my group group when I made reservation for 1, and weren't mad when 2 didn't show up and we had to rearrange things. Cute patio. Oh, wait, went on a date here once, also a great experince.

Ok, I go to this place all the time because they have a great salad bar. I think it's like $7.75 a pound and they have sushi, grilled salmon, caprese salad and all the other goodies I like to eat.
