i had the quiche and salad. i wasn't terribly impressed by them. but my friends were thrilled with what they had (pesto pizza, pear and brie sandwich, tomato salad). i was thrilled with the market part of the place. i found some great teas i can't find anywhere else, for great prices! the service was pretty good, the location is easy to get to. not a bad spot. If you're in the mood for a great salad, well priced, in good proportions come to Food Inc. You can often get 2 meals out of the heartier salads, especially the Cobb. I especially love the Caesar salad with chicken, the Chicken mediterranean salad, and the warm chevre salad with toasted pecans. For the 2nd 2 salads, I ask for balsamic vinegar instead of the italian dressing since there's already so much flavor in the salads themselves. Review #17344

I work two blocks from here and I can never get sick of eating their sandwiches. My favorite is the turkey club and eggplant sandwich. The bacon is cooked perfectly and the foccacia bread they serve it on is excellent.. HOMEMADE. The Chevre Salad was also really good too. Prices are definitely affordable. Review #16911

There are amazing sandwiches at amazing fares at this small restaurant tucked between a Martha Bros and a landromat on California at Divis. I've been coming here for three years now, and have my standard favorites: the BLT and the Turkey Club. Both are served on huge squares of the most moist, chewy, homemade Foccacia bread -- really tender and chewy -- and with a small side salad and olives for $6. They're huge sandwiches, and easily good for lunch and dinner! They also have excellent eggplant parmiagiana, and bakery items, like decadent brownies and tortes. Everything I've had at Food, Inc. has been fresh and delicious. I can't recommend it enough! Review #9113
