We just got seated as the Friday night dinner rush started. The food was good and portions filling. Only complaint was the noise level and that they seem to really cram them in. Which in the Castro is something you should be used to. No, not like that, but with the size of the resturant. Review #20114

Better than Pasta Pomodor and the service is not bad either. Went here for a quick bite on Saturday night before heading out to a birthday party. I highly recommend the carrot ginger soup... quite tasty. The pasta noodles weren't cooked well to my taste but overall the service was quick and the staff attentive. It does get packed for dinner every night and if you go alone take a seat at the counter or by the window to avoid waiting for a table. Review #18044

As others have suggested, you're best off ordering the firecracker pork fusilli, which is packed with flavor. (I have a feeling it must be very bad for you. ) Other dishes can be bland and boring. Still, Fuzio is an okay option if you want a relatively inexpensive dinner before seeing a movie at the Castro Theater. Review #16300

Decent enough, but poor vegetarian options, *extremely noisy* (you're packed in there like sardines), and unremarkable food. I asked if they could make the springrolls without the chicken, and the waitress said that they had already pre-made them hours before, so that wasn't possible. (That's fine for a $2 tray at a hole-in-the-wall vietnamese place, but for $7 at Fuzio? Try making them fresh, please). The pad thai noodles I had was *boring*. Review #7803

A semi-upscale chain that's a little bit better than Pasta Pomodoro. Pasta has some asian and international flairs. Its good, basic pre-packaged fare. It's not going to subtly tantalize your tongue, its just going to fill your stomach. Service and atmosphere not its strong points. Price is good. Review #6646

Some dishes work, some don't. The spaghetti and meatballs are pretty bland. More adventurous dishes like the firecraker pork work better. overall, not so hot. Review #5457

True that there is selection and the prices are reasonable. But, it is a chain and it feels that way. Just not unique or outstanding. Review #5336

Fuzio is lovely. I say this for various reasons: 1. It's inexpensive 2. The portions are not tiny 3. The food is good (try the firecracker pork fussili, it's hot!) I think sometimes the service is a little abrupt, though. Maybe the staff sometimes think that they are working in a posh restaurant, not an inexpensive pasta bistro. Or maybe they just had too much to drink the night before. Whatever reason, I still like the place. Don't let the the moody staff keep you away from your hot plate of yummy. Review #5263

Very decent pasta/noodle joint. Sort of a fusion alternative to Pasta Pomodoro, with asian and southwestern-inflected dishes. Good cocktails (lots of flavored martinis). Cheap. Review #5188

good variety on the menu, fairly cheap, good food. yeah its a chain, but i think its still a good place. and the plus side of the food value is you can go get a decent meal and a bottle of wine and its still really not that much $. Review #4207

Nothing great here, but it's good for the price. The Firecracker Pork was something new and different (and HOT) for me. Nice that they have a full bar. It's one of those places that you sit closer to the person at the table next to you than you do to the person across your table. Don't go when it's busy, too loud. Review #4121

This was a great place. Very kool place to hang out, and then on top of this....the food was interesting and good. When you put it all otgether it just seems to work. The drinks were adequate and priced the norm, the food portions(the noodle dish ala californian) was more than enough...a good overall experience enjoyed by myself and a friend. So you ask " Joey...would you go back"? But of course I would..after all it was a good experience. ENJOY! Review #3611

Everyone loves noodles-well that's what the folks at Fuzio figure. If they are done right - well, they have a point. The pasta section is truly international, from linguine with meatballs and marinara to pad thai. And for dessert how about a North Beach affogato, ice cream & rich espresso. Yes, Fuzio lacks in personality, but it makes up for it in good value and wholesome food. Review #3529
