“ We went to go to The House in North Beach for dinner, and of course, it was going to be more than an hour wait. I was bummed. So, we humbly walked over to Estia a few doors down which seemed somewhat inviting. We were greeted by a very friendly wait staff, which included the owner of the restaurant (who ended up taking our order). I asked him whether there was anything on the menu for my 2 year old son. He asked whether my son liked pasta and whether he preferred red or white sauce. After I indicated a white fettucine, the owner said, "I'll cook him something special myself." Sure enough, 10 minutes later was a large bowl of fettucine alfredo in front of my gawking kid. By the way, his dish was ON THE HOUSE for absolutely no reason. Our food was fanatastic and the service was superb. Nice ambiance too! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant which frequently gets overshadowed by The House. You'll be pleasantly surprised. ”
