“ Food very good, HUGE quantities - be careful not to order too much. We were startled by the fact that they added the gratuity automatically for a party of TWO! The TIP line was blank on the non-itemized receipt, & the total seemed high. We asked to see an itemized receipt & realized what had happened. We almost double tipped! We always tip 20% anyhow, so this was not the issue - but we felt this was sneaky. The owner explained that the "new computer system" adds the tip automatically, and "even Burger King does it" LOL (do you guys eat at B.K and if so - do you TIP? ”

“ We went to the Grandeho's on Cole in Cole Valley. The sushi was delicious and very fresh. The waitress was very, very nice. We went for lunch so there was no wait and it was quiet. ”

“ A cut above your neighborhood sushi joint. Friendly, efficient staff. Fun sushi chefs that turn out consistently good sushi any day of the week. Relatively small and a little cramped, so it's not great for having a leisurely sushi night, especially if it's busy. Definitely worth a trip for the quality of the food. ”

“ correct address for cole valley location: 943 Cole St (near Carl Street). this place has some of the best sushi i've had in SF or anywhere. friendly staff that recognize you if you show up on their door step more than once a month. gets busy and can be quite difficult for large groups.... but worth the wait. ”
