“I tried my very first sushi at this restaurant, a very good friend of mine is a sushi lover so he took me there and made me eat them and i love sushi ever since. Though its a bit expensive but i think its worth it.

“we went here for dinner with certificates from restaurants.com. This made it a good deal. We had several of the rolls, which were pretty good. Not sure if I would go back, but it was nice to try.”
“This is a great place if you ar hunking for japanese for lunch. Their $12.50 Bento Box is a steal, considering you get to pick 2 items from the menu including fat, juicy pieces of Bonito, Maguro, Salmon and Hamachi sashimi, as well as Tonkatsu, Fried Oysters, Grilled Beef or Chicken. Rice and Miso soup are included. It's probably overpriced for dinner though.”
“A little expensive for what you get, but it's a pretty decent place overall. I liked the atmosphere since it was away from the really crowded parts of Union Square, but I agree with Jadegyrlee in that Sanraku is a much better bang for your buck.”
“I've been here twice for lunch, and love it. It's definitely not cheap but it is very yummy. Compared to other japanese downtown lunch spots, this is my favorite so far.”
“the food here wasn't bad, but i don't think it's worth it for the money that you pay. it's very expensive, and i feel that other places that are cheaper prepare food better (ie. sanraku in the metreon, or even kabuto's). and you don't get full off yakitori at all, so you probably have to order a lot. this was recommended off frommer's, but i don't agree with them on this one. there are much better japanese restaurants in the City.”
