The Front Room , with us Probably one of the best pizza I have had in the city. Their sauce is like magic. I like my pizza with lots of sauce and they do it right. They have beer pitcher specials for dirt cheap and very dependable delivery service to the area... Review #19054

Originally, I used to order from here multiple times a week since it was just around the corner. Since they received their eviction notice by their awful new landlord, they decided to become the worst restaurant in SF. Even since they have moved, you still receive an awfully put together meal. Stale bread, cold fries, 1 hour delivery time for a two block radius. To top it off, when you order, some russian lady answers the phone who insists they don't have things you've ordered before on the menu, so in turn you have to trick her into putting the ingredients together. That says it all. Two years ago, a plus rating, now, they deserve nothing more than a big fat red minus. Review #18167

I like to consider myself a pizza connoisseur and would have to say that for the money, the front room is the way to go. I prefer ordering it to go and picking it up at their colorful location. There are always interesting people there drinking beer and the staff is friendly enough. Front room will sell you enough pizza to feed four hungry guys for less than $20. Its great for watching football and drinking beer. Also, I have had the wings there which are also quite good as is the garlic bread. If you are looking for value and greasy pizza that you can't help but love, call the front room immediately. Like any good pizza place, they deliver as well. Recently they added the ability to place your order online which I did for the first time the other day. I have ordered from the front room probably 10 times and have not had any mistakes made with regard to my orders. Review #17749

The food was GROSS! I was always interested in trying this place. I didn't want to leave home and had a take out menu. Although the food came at a reasonable time, it wasn' worth the wait. The lettuce in the salad tasted old, the bread was hard, the chicken was hard and tasted weird, and the spag was watered down and bland. If you still decide to try it, don't get the chicken sec. I love this place! Tuesdays and Thursday they have $3 pitchers and some great karaoke. Never order the deep dish, but the regular is good. I love their front room special and the service is always hilarious. Great place for a group. Review #9066

This is a good place to kick back with friends and drink some beer. I had dinner here once but it was not good...kind of "canned" and bland. Review #9064

This is beer and pizza, pizza. I enjoyed it. It's a respectable neighborhood place that hasn't been all dandied up and taken over by tense, pouty hipsters who hate you. Beer was cold. I'd go back. Bring back the jade plants! Review #7018

Well, this time it was based on a friends recommendation ...so much for that. The dusty, 70's look with the old style big-screen TV should have been a hint. The service was a bit awkward, not even a greeting when we entered. I was really hoping for a deep-dish, Chicago style pizza, what I got was some thick crusted, luke-warm, bread with toppings on it, oh yeah and a thin, thin amount of sauce, if that even was sauce under there....oh well, the search will continue for REAL Chicago style pizza..... I was craving a good pizza in the area when I stumbled upon this restaurant at the corner of California and Hyde. I should have trusted my instinct when I walked in and the people running the place were some 20-something year-olds. The ingredients were fresh, but there was no sauce at all on my pizza. The dough tasted too salty and lacked any flavors. Don't read any further if you don't want to be grossed out, but they mixed the dough behind some curtain, situated just 3 feet across from the bathroom! Unfortunately, I have already eaten my first slice when I discovered their little-known secret. Review #5571
