“ i'm still unsure why it's such a draw for happy hour... the patio's packed with ppl watchers. anyway, i liked the rock shrimp pizza. thin crusted and good (minus the goat cheese would be better). except for that and team drinks, i'm not sure i would go. ”

“ very mediocre, ho-hum type food. nothing to rave about. the thumbs up are all in the decor. had raviolis stuffed with lobster & hamhock???? who's idea was that? VERY Pricey and not worth it. shoulda went across the street to Boulevard! ”

“ I had brunch here today with some friends and it was good. However, in spite of having a reservation and showing up 10 minutes early, they made us wait about 10 minutes for our table. (The restaurant was only about half full). The waiter took our drink order and the drinks were a long time coming. We ordered when the drinks were served and the food came in good time. Everyone liked what they had (rock shrimp omelet for me). The Bloody Mary was excellent! Over all, I would give it a B+. The place is very attractive, by the way. ”

“ I enjoyed the simplistic decor and the quite,relaxing ambiance. Food is good but nothing to remember in particular. I had chanterelle dumplings and were quite flavorless, bread is homemade. Try their combination dessert, dessertlicious ! ”

“ Nice patio dining spot!! I highly recommend it. Cushions on benches with plenty of heat lamps..very nice atmosphere, attentive wait staff and knowledgeable about wines...the pizza is great lots of truffles!! the flank steak pianetta is off the hook I'll go back just for that..they f=ed up with my girlfriends burger which was ordered medium rare and brought medium well but the comped it anyway!! So nice the manager came over and apoligised. Very respectable and very good food the burger was great which came out swiftly. Great for after work drinks apps and dinner..will definitely go again soon ”

“ I visited Americano for drinks and apps on a Friday evening and the restaurant was packed! Great crowd to kick back and enjoy drinks with- the crowd is much more mature compared to some other restaurants on the embarcadero (e.g Gordon Bierch). Great after hour mingling spot. ”

“ I've been here two separate times. For lunch, the food was awesome. It was very loud and hard to hear the others in my party. For happy hour, the patio is nice but get there early as a line starts to form to get in after 6:00-ish. And why? I have no idea. Drinks were OK...nothing to wait in line for. ”

“ Hotel restaurants are always hit and miss, but this one hits! I went there for brunch and the staff was great. The host remembered my name and used it several times, even when I left. The eggs benedict was wonderful and unique. I'll definitely go back and try some other choices. ”
