Had lunch here about a year ago and loved it! Very good place for a buiness lunch. Decent sized portions of good italian food. Lots of people in suits doing a "power lunch". Review #21085

The Palio Restaurant is a bit expensive for lunch, but Palio's Cafe down the block is reasonably priced. The grilled ham and cheese sandwich is extremely good!!! The service is quick, too! Review #17608

I'm not sure how long Palio has been around, but I have the feeling it's been a long time. I booked a dinner for 25 there last week, and, having done this sort of large group event on a frequent basis, I know how hard it is to deliver quality service and keep the food up to the standard of the restaurant. Palio delivered very well on both counts. The headwaiter introduced himself and took great care of the group throughout the night. Nice little appetizers of proscuitto-wrapped asparagus and mushroom crostini. *Excellent* pasta: orechiette with a kid (goat) sugo, herbs and green peas. Very good rack of lamb with side of fritto misto baby artichokes. Overall, they did a great job with the group. That may have been helped along by the fact that the rest of the joint was largely empty, but I'll keep Palio in mind for italian in the future. Review #13273

only been here for the happy hour with people from work - well worth it! As mentioned already, for every two drinks, you get a fresh oven baked pizza - and they are good! I recommend going with a group of people after work, and just start ordering the pizzas - before you know it you'll have had two drinks anyway. I'm not sure I would go here for anyother reason than their happy hour special, so they better not get rid of it. Friendly staff. Review #10021

Food here is pretty good, but overpriced and especially for lunch. I just didn't feel comfortable spending all that money on italian food! As a shared appetizer, we had the prosciutto ($14). It was too salty for my tastes...I need my honeydew to balance the cured flavor! For my main, I had a roasted pumpkin ravioli and brussel sprouts in brown butter ($17). Pasta was cooked al dente, and it was extremely tasty. Portions are tiny as well. I didn't even go for the more expensive entrees, which could easily reach $25 and beyond. Went with coworkers for lunch, and I think we all didn't expect this restaurant to be so expensive. Good place to have a business lunch. We didn't get dessert, but that alone was $8 or $9. Won't find a special meal here. Yes, it's OK, but is it special ? - doesn't even come close. It's too bad too, great location, decor is a nice warm brick with colorful flags and a great looking clean glass enclosed kitchen. I can see that this can be a great place to meet, then take your business elsewhere for dinner. Review #9143

Go for the happy hour after work - for every two drinks you get one wonderful thin crusted wood oven baked pizza! I'm a big fan of their Paninoteca - best homemade cookies downtown and great for office catering. Review #831
