“ Went for sunday brunch. I orderd the joes scramble, b/f had the bacon, sausage and egg brekkie and we shared a special waffle. The muffin that came first was OK, a bit dry. The special waffle was nice...a waffle with fresh strawberries and bannana...but $9.95 seems expensive to me for a waffle. My joes scramble was awful! I had a bite, gave my b/f a weird look and made him try a piece which made him give me a weird look..."it tastes like liver-not ground beef". Yup. It really did taste like liver, I sent it back and proceeded to eat 1/2 of b/f's meal...which was very nice. The coffee is really tasty. The service was very efficient , always had water and coffee. I saw a lot of salads going out that looked good so I will probably try the place for lunch at some point.

“ Muffins, muffins, muffins. The brunch is one of the best in the city, especially the pasta specials, the fish of the day is usually very good, too. Almost always crowded, but he wait staff is good at moving things along and they stay calm in the face of chaos. ”

“ absolutely delicious, think the pricing is pretty standard for this style of restaurant. I highly suggest the polenta appetizer, the salads, and around thanksgiving, Cafe Pecan Pumpkin Pie...if you're lucky they have the recipe at the front door to take home too! ”

“ Love, love, love Cafe for all Seasons! We visit for lunch whenever we are in the city. Clean and lively, with a great lunch menu. Some favorites are the pasta with artichokes, chicken ceasar salad, and the desserts are wonderful. ”

“ Plus: food is fresh; dishes seem to be made with a healthy diet in mind; staff is friendly and efficient.
Con: pricey for what you get.
Recently had a chicken pasta there; wife had a filet of trout. Dishes where both in the $16-$20, with no soup or salad included. Tasty but just pricey. ”

“ The food ia always very very good. You can tell that everything is super fresh. The breakfasts are never greasy, like many places can be. It can be a bit costly but you really do get superb food in generous quantities. The wait staff is extremely nice and efficient. There does not appear to be a high employee turn over, so it is cool to see the same familiar faces year in and year out. The only major drawback that keeps me from going often is that they cram the restaurant way too full. It feels like you have no elbow room and that you can't have a private conversation, because the tables are seriously right on top of each other. I also would not recommend it for a party. I wanted to make a reservation for my sister's birthday dinner for a party of 8 and was told that they do not take reservations. Overall it is a wonderful place to have a good meal with a friend or two. ”

“ I have nostalgic memories of this place from growing up in the neighborhood and most of them are still accurate. It's a noisy restaurant but the french fries and the lemonade are yummy. Very busy at lunch/brunch, not always possible to get a table. ”
