We had delivery from here last night for dinner. Positives: fast delivery, good selection of not just the standard chinese take out foods and the food is not all greasy. Neutrals: It's pricey. $9 for a medium hot & sour soup! Our total came to $51. Though the food was not oily...it was also pretty flavourless...it could definetly use some seasoning & spice. Had the hot & sour soup that was slightly hot (- black peppery) but not sour at all and the chicken & shrimp that the menu claimed were in there no where to be found. The spicy dry fried chicken had zero spice to it and the sweet garlic pepper sauce was neither sweet nor garlicky. The sweet & sour pork was the same...no flavour to the sauce....though the pork was cooked nicely as was the chicken in the previous item we tried. Then there was the combo chow mein... weird flavour to it...i think it was from the calamari in it? Chow mein & calamari...not a good call. It was suppose to come with shrimp...guess they were running low. Review #18862

My husband and I went for lunch with 2 year old in tow. The hostess was very sweet and friendly, and especially attentive to the young one. The hostess overheard the baby asking for ice and immediately brought over a big glass full with out having been asked. The food arrived hot and fast. The HUGE pot stickers were tasty and juicy. Maybe the wrappers were a little too thick for my taste. But they still hit the spot. Shiitake and bok choy was good and fresh tasting. My husband had a flavorful noodle dish with lots of beef. The food is quite good and the portions are generous. Review #17208

I had an early dinner here yesterday with a couple of friends. Loved it! Small, very attractive, good service. They whisked away empty dishes as soon as we were finished with them Lots of smiles and in general, very pleasant. The decor is very nice and I don't quite understand what the previous reviewer was indicating about the fly strips! Perhaps she meant in the former place there. Certainly none when we were there. Oh yeah, the food. Terrific! We had hot and sour soup which is so ubiquitous in chinese restaurants, but this one was excellent. Vegetable pot stickers were good, we had a lamb dish and a chicken dish, both very tasty and plentiful. Cons? They charge $4.00 for a pot of tea (although you have a choice of about 5 different kinds - we passed) and they serve the saltiest soy sauce I have ever encountered. I would go back in a minute. After a very tough morning I decided to treat myself to a nice lunch. Rather than go to a tried and true, I opted for something new. True to my morning, my first two choices were closed for lunch; I ended up at Xiao Loong. I was reluctant to try this place as in a former life the previous restaurant hung flystrips (which worked) throughout and I didn't notice until I was just about finished. Not a good look for a restaurant. Compared to some, this place had a nice atmosphere, the place was jumpin' for a weekday lunch, service was quick and polite; lunch prices reasonable. Food was beautifully presented, vegetables were crisp, but...my chicken curry was really bland. To be fair, I wouldn't be opposed to trying it again to be sure that I wasn't too quick to judge.
