“As other reviewers have mentioned the value here is great! The sushi is decent and very affordable. It may not be the kind of place you bring a first date but a great place to meet up with a couple of friends. There's only a few tables and rarely gets super crowded.”
“I love the you see sushi!!!! I've been going there with my boyfriend since i moved to san francisco and still havent found the same quality of fish for the price you pay... The service is excellent and they always top off our sake. Try the you see special for a great bang for your buck

“very inexpensive food. The owner is the main chef. great sushi and the differnt combo plates are a good choice. The chicken terriyaki is wonderful. can't go wrong with this place. right around the corner from ucsf.”
“My husband & I call this little gem, Cheap-bisu (given that it's only a few blocks from the amazingly good yet pricey Ebisu). Yummy fresh sushi (not the most inventive menu - but all the traditional favorites), friendly staff, minimal wait, and you'll think they made a mistake on the bill it's so low. The only drawback - if you like low salt soy sauce, bring your own or be prepared to water it down.

“Located just two blocks from the UCSF Mt. Parnassus campus, You See sushi is a great lunch option if the UCSF food court and cafeteria don't appeal to you. They have a number of $6 lunch specials which come with a roll, 4 pieces of nigiri, rice, and miso. Decent quality fish, fast service. The wait staff could've been friendlier but for a $6 sushi lunch you can't really complain. Est. in 1991 open for lunch and dinner. Closed Sunday.”
