“ Barbara & I had dinner on a Wednesday night. Place was packed at 7:00 pm. Great lively vibe in the room. Looks & smells like a southern french bistro. Food was really good.
She had the Salmon flown in from Norway. Tasty, firm & rich. I had the pork, osso buco style. The caramelized onion reduction sauce was perfect.
Wines by the glasss are reasonably priced. We had 4 different glasses. The Vauclose Rhone is exceptional, $8 glass.
desserts: Mine - Raspberry tinged Chocolate mousse - YUM! Barbara - Fudgey covered poached pear, sinfully thick & exhilarating. Espresso is better than what you get at 99% of the coffee shops in the bay area.
Waitress was wonderfully knowledgeable, accessible, & friendly.
The Fixe-Prix dinner for $30 is a bargain. Our total bill = $102.
Highly recommended! ”
