“ Ok ready...if you like downtown San Jose and its upcoming charm, this lends well. It sits right at the start of Santa Clara Street..so real close to San Pedro Square. Although the restaurant is right on the main street here, the dark lit venue helps relax and escort you into a dining delight(lol) well it does! Great place for a date or a business affair..not sure about the other affairs! Listen, I can recommend to you the following entree that I had and it was the 14oz Prime Rib eye with Gorgonzola...with Garlic mashed potatoes and some small broccolini. For dessert I had the Flourless Chocolate Cake & White Chocolate Mousse Fresh Raspberries, but honestly I hate these kind of desserts!! The reason is because I always feel like they are lying. I mean for the next 15 minutes I just kept pondering over and over again" how did they make that without flour"..how? how? While all along this annoying voice kept whispering in my ear " Joe...just let it go " ”

“ My friend and his wife celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary there. I used to go there a lot when it was serving innovative New American cuisine. Now, it is a steakhouse. The appetizer were the usual fare, i.e. crab cakes, chicken skewers, etc. The steaks were awesome and cooked to perfection. The sauce on the steaks are available for additional cost but I don't it is necessary. All steaks come with a huge side of cream spinach (argh. E Coli) and mashed potatoes. The wine list is pretty extensive and a tad overpriced. We brought our own wine, a bottle of 2002 Turnbull and 2003 Meyer Cab. The overall dining experience was great but it was a little pricey. ”

“ Food is very good, ambiance is nice and dark. Getting here can be a little bit of a pain in the neck by San Jose standards but that's to be expected with any downtown location. The waitstaff is very attentive and courteous, bartenders friendly and prompt. They seem to have a good command of both beef and seafood, with some nice appetizer items on the menu. Lobster Johnnycakes are delicious, try the ice wine for dessert. ”
