Good pizza, but not such a nice environment to hang out.

Wasn't the best cannoli I've had.. But the cookies were decent. Review #14900

i've been here a few times now. they have desserts and things like focaccio pizza. overall it's pretty good, but the last time i wasn't impressed by the service. the man behind the counter may have been having a really bad day, but my friend and i didn't need to get the brunt of it. overall i guess i would say hit and miss. Another great option for a quick bakery snack when walking through North Beach. No endearing qualities to stay, so grab an espresso and one of their custard filled treats and walk down Columbus Street. It's right across from Stellas if you don't find what you like. Review #13347

I pop in here often for a quick walking afternoon snack. The pastries are good, not real elegant. Usual assortment of cakes and cookies that you see at most italian bakeries. I come for the focaccia bread "pizza". They usually have 3 or 4 varieties of toppings. I like the tomato & olive. Puffy bread texture, belly filling, good tasting 6" X 6" square will cost you a whole $2. Holds you over until your 8:00 PM dinner date. Requisite espresso machine here, 4 or 5 tables. Nothing fancy, you won't want to linger. Review #12820

YUM YUM YUM I wish i knew the name for all the items we ordered today but none of them had a sign...just this and that and lotsa pointing. We ordered 3 things and the best was an AMAZING custard stuffed sweet crossiant thingy. Then there was a palmier? is that right? a big flaky kinda heart shaped thing 1/2 covered in chocolate...very good. Then there was a cannoli shped thing---but it wasn't --with some whipped cream inside---just ok. Definetly give it a try! Review #12758
