Well on our continuing quest to find all our local restaurants we had dinner here on Monday night. At 8pm there were 2 other tables of 2 there...only one of who was probably over 70. The "7" course meal costs between $14-20 depending on the entree. 1 of those courses is coffee. Salad, soup, a plate of pepperoncini, sliced pickles, mini corn, and a slice of bologna---interesting, pasta bolognese---so they claimed--my entree "boneless" chicken stuffed with proscuitto & cheese, coffee and ice cream. Salad was a few pieces of iceburg lettuce mix topped with a flavourless dressing, soup was mushy and tasteless, my entree was not bad but it was not boneless. The owner waited on us and he was very sweet, he has owned the place for 25 years. I definetly think the place needs to be updated and the food improved. I doubt we will be back which is sad as I wish them the best. Review #19471

Lost between two asian places this neighborhood italian place was just that a place hidden for locals only. Judging on the pricing, (escargots $5.50) done perfectly with lots of garlic for the bread to soak up, Caesar salad for two ($7.50) Veal Parmigiana ($14.00) and Spaghetti with Clams ($11.00) made this more affordable than going to Safeway and buying the same stuff ($40.00) It’s always at least 40 bucks for one bag at Safeway! This is the kind of place that you could eat at twice a week; take the leftovers for lunch and save money over shopping. The service was personable and quick, the food was filling and tasty (not fine dining) but an acceptable alternative to cooking at home (I need a break). Atmosphere, none, the best was the price of a cappuccino ($2.50) Tiramisu ($3.50) so this is definitely affordable even with the tip! All in all, this is a drop in regular kind of joint, on the way home and you don’t have to do the dishes! Review #13108
