Picked up lunch here today. The chicken was good but really not better than KFC. I think I would have been happier at Tu Lan next door. Nice for something new though. Review #14030

Heard a radio ad that a Louisiana Fried Chicken was opening up in SF. Never been, decided that I needed to try it. It's located @ Market @ 6th in a gritty area and is a little hole in the wall, but I can see this spot being popular regardless. The chicken is spicy and non greasy, the biscuits were okay, and the coleslaw had too much mayo. Good and should be popular with the urban "baller" crowd, as that was primarily the clientel. Was walking by here yesterday, their first day of opening and HAD to stop for a snack. The Place is a hole in the wall and as it was the 1st day it was chaos inside. Over all the food was pretty good. Chicken was crispy outside and succulent inside without being too greasy. Biscuits were OK, cloeslaw was tooooo mayonaisey (is that a word ?:0) They have all the standard side dishes and everything is very resonably priced. If you are in the mood for fried chicken give it a try. Pretty tight quarters inside so I reccomend taking it to go. Review #13396
