Have to say i was impressed with the food. I had kinda envisioned this place more of a restaurant (you order at the register and the food is delivered)...but my disspointment was soon forgotten as we sampled a couple of the items. We started with Martabak for $4.50 crispy roti pratha stuffed with minced meat, green onions and eggs. It was perfectly cooked...slightly crunchy and luscious inside. Then we had the: Beef Rendang for $6.99 Beef cubes slow-cooked in indonesian spices, served with jasmine rice The food was flavourfull and perfectly cooked , not too greasy, nice fresh ingredients. The owner was super friendly and even though we walked in right at 3pm when they close he happily served us. I will be back to try more. Good prices, great service, cute place. Review #20138

A little hole in the wall, but wonderful food. I've been twice because it's so cheap and delicious. I highly recommend the yogurt chicken. Review #19364

The atmosphere is like a workplace lunchroom, but the food is great. We had the roti pratha (a flaky, bread-like discus that you dip in a curry sauce), curried glass noodles with chicken, and the daily special, which was a rice plate with lots of funky little toppings. All were spicy and satisfying. Most of the dishes cost about $5, so it's a great deal. I just wish they had a larger selection of beverages; it's mostly Coke and Snapple, when what you really want is a beer... or at least a ginger ale. Review #16713

Very clean place. It gets busy during lunch. Had a great lunch there. We were lucky to go on a day they had a special dish called Nasi Lemak. It's a rice dish presented on a banana leaf. The rice is cooked with coconut milk, instead of water. It's surrounded with small mounds of roasted shredded coconut, sambal, veggies, shrimp, toasted anchovies and peanuts. It's very very good. My co-worker had the rendang, very good as well, rich sauce and very tender beef. I also tried their black rice pudding... very good as well. I can't wait to go there again. Review #16291
