My best friend treated me to dinner for my bday at Tribu. It was a good experience- clean looking, the servers had friendly faces, and the open kitchen made it seem like a clean establishment.(very important).
There was so much to choose from - from the menu.
We had CALAMARI: perfect batter-not overly, tasted fresh but the dish did not have lemons- we had to ask for it. The dipping was delicious-different and yummy.
BAGOONG RICE: looked delectable, original, and tasted good, even though the chili peppers could have been left out of it.
PENAKBIT: again...good, shrimp tasted fresh and not overly cooked, the vegetables - perfect not mushy.
SHORT RIBS: nice size, but a lil bit too marinated, greasy felt fried rather than grilled.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE: Wonderful- will bring friends to eat there again. ”
