delicious food! We ordered chicken shawerma, lamb shawerma, two dolmadas and a side of hummus bi tahini. It was all delicious and the servings were quite generous. Shawermas were good and big. The dolmadas are delectable. Solid and plump, with a little bit of lemon and mint tang. If we had done take out I would have licked the hummus plate. As it was our first time at Taboun the owner comped us some falafel. A couple years ago after a dozen tries in as many restaurants I swore I would never eat falafel again. I groaned inwardly when she brought the plate to the table with her compliments. Did I eat my words and the falafel! The best falafel I have ever tasted. Crispy out, light and airy in. Inviting and clean restaurant. Owner is a very sweet lady. We will definitely come again. Highly recommended. Review #20257

I love the swarma wrap here. I call in my order for lunch and then pick it up to go. Easy for people who work at UCSF hospital. Their fries are also delicious. Review #19402

fast food mediteranean. not bad. this was my first time there. the servers tonite weren't into the job, but the food was fine. i had the deluxe falafel and it was basically the same as anywhere else, but unlike most other places, it wasn't greasy. they serve all the same things as anywhere else. there's a small seating area. the place was clean and inviting. i would go back if i was in the area.
