“ I went there with a group of around 15 people for a birthday party. My wife and I have spent more than 7 years traveling the world and enjoying various cuisines. We have eaten every known kind of food including several raw food specialists. For me personally, I enjoy the textures and tastes of food and am not concerned with the psychology people attach to certain foods. I want good food. This place didn't have it. I asked if something could be made without salt and was told that was impossible due to the fact that the food was delivered and not prepared in the restaurant. I had to settle for a salad with oil and vinegar because every dressing was also heavily salt laden. My wife went for a dish recommended by the waitress and even she who eats salt found it inedible. We sampled other peoples food and found each and every dish so salty it could be considered criminal to serve to a group of elderly folks such as ourselves who try to limit salt for health reasons. “ Ever notice the demeanor of staff who work at vegan restaurants? Especially the ones that have precious bodily enzymes and proteins & sense of humor draining out from multiple metal piercings in their ears, nose and lips? Seeing the review from jillduffy sparked my memory of the worst lunch experience I had with a vegannazi friend last month! It began with my “I am hungry” by ordering their “I am fabulous Lasagna” After all how bad can they muck up lasagna? My fabulous Lasagna turned out worse than Stouffers Lean Cuisine, at work. Tasteless, bland sauce topping crunchy hard ribbons of some kind of wheat product pasta, glued with rubbery chalky faux cheese. And for this I paid 15 bucks. My zombie pasty white vegan friend had the “ I am Cheerful” burger which he though was just OK, stale hard bun, with a slice of tomato, sprouts, lettuce pickle and catsup only missing a nice greasy beef patty to make it edible! The food, sorry. The grisly staff even sorrier. The owner obscenely rich. ”
