“ I have eaten here twice and ordered two different salads. The 1st was a delicious tuna tartare salad on greens with canellini beans an pesto. It was a really large piece of tuna cooked perfectly and the pesto was just on top of the fish. It was outstanding. The second salad I ate there was the "pig salad": carnitas on greens with a mustard vinaigrette. I love pork, but this was too much for me. I should have taken a clue from the name that I was not going to feel very healthy afterwards. It's not that the salad was bad, I just was not in the mood. The ambiance is nice for lunch: the tables are not too close together and it generally has an open feeling. ”

“ South Park Cafe, with us I've enjoyed South Park Cafe since about 2000. This charming bistro style restaurant offers some great food at a great price with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. They have excellent starters (try the Pig Salad) and the crab cake is generous and flavorful. Two favorites of mine are the roast chicken and the steak with pommes frites - both always deliver. Parking is usually (fairly) easy on South Park and it's not usually difficult to get it - always a plus. ”

You will scarcely believe your eyes, your taste buds or your wallet at this delightful hidden treasure exploding into fireworks with sensationally delicious cuisine and countryside ambience. From unexpectedly delicious appetizer presentations including spectacular beef tongue with avocado potato salad, warm "pig" salad or fabulous yellowtail salad to delectable entrees including wild boar stew, stupendous sweetbreads with macaroni or exalting duck breast in red wine reduction sauce, finishing with any of the superb homemade desserts, South Park Cafe deserves landmark status. “ I really like this place. It is one of the city's hidden treasures. In a little nook a few blocks from the ball park. There is a lovely park across the street. Food is really good. Pricy but nice. ”
