Good pizza, but not such a nice environment to hang out.

Three of us had dinner here Friday night. I had the Da Big Kahuna (Pupus) as my meal since it is plenty large enough for a meal. Comes with Coco Mac prawns, Tita's drumettes, Teriyaki beef sticks, and Won tons. The Teriyake sticks and Praws were excellent and the drumettes and won tons pretty tasty. My two companions both had Khal Bi Pork Ribs -and I had one -which were cooked just right and are delicious. Some fried Taro root that accompanied one of the Pork rib dishes was highly lackluster. The other sides were ok. For desert we had the Malasadas (donuts) which were great and not to be missed. The last friday of each month is Lau lau night where various hawaiian specials along with live music are offered. Service was exempleary and the staff very friendly. Definitely a place to visit again. Review #9441

Not a fan of hawaiian cuisine, but maybe, if you're a fan of beignets and Spam, you'll like it. Not exactly vegetarian-friendly. Review #7715

I've frequented this place numerous times. And time and time again I've always walked out satiated and happy. Service has achieved the excellent level of friendliness - not too chatty and not too attentive. Food is great for the price. My favorite is the meatloaf. This ain't your momma's meatloaf nor is this your trailer park meatloaf either. This came out of the oven and onto the grill then smothered with teriyaki sauce. Absoloutely divine. My dining companion, TasteBuddy, allowed me to sample only one dish from her combo platter (hock that grass skirt alright, you can hock your coconut brazziere too), the adobo. It didn't quite go well with my palatte. It tasted like cured ham. But that's her experience to write. As for me, I will definitely go back and say 'aloha' to my meatloaf. Review #7140

I like this restaurant. It's cozy, intimate and they serve decent food. If I'm in the mood for some Kalua pork and kalbi and I find myself moseying around the Castro, I will definitely drop by. Unfortunately, I've discovered another hawaiian restaurant in the city(Hukilau) and the other is so much better. Tita's is a little more expensive and has lesser portions, I'll have to hock my grass skirt if I want dessert. Although the service is great, I just can't promise a return visit after I've experienced Hukilau. "Aloha" could either mean hello or goodbye. In this case, I'll have to say that it means the latter. Everyone loves this place, but I was unimpressed. If you have to have hawaiian food, then this is the place, but I could do without macaroni salad as a side dish forever. I had overcooked Kalbi, and everything I tasted from my friend's plates were unremarkable. Review #5211

This was on SF Chronicle's cheap eats. I wouldn't say it was cheap per se. The food was ok, my fish was a little overcooked. Fun atmosphere and very friendly staff. I like Hukilau better. Review #4897

Yummy. I went there for brunch and had their unique polynesian sausage benedict that came with lots of fresh fruit. The guava mimosa was the perfect addition. A small, intimate atmosphere and refreshing because it's off the beaten path. Review #4703

Check it out for fun hawaiian flavors in a down home yet nice atmosphere. Good mix of menu options, though defitintely favors carnivores. Brunch menu sounds good too. Review #1493

Good, fresh and friendly neighborhood spot. My meal certainly wasn't overly impressive but the waitstaff was very friendly, the restaurant is small and pretty intimate and the food was good. Review #1216
