Negative Cuisine: Pakistani Indian Tenderloin
Sorry - I think this place is nasty given the other amazing indian options in the Loin. My food was mucho greasy and soooo spicy, but not flavorful. Not my first pick for Loin indian eats. Review #10058

Positive Cuisine: Pakistani Indian Tenderloin
First, let me start off by saying I much prefer the Mission location (and not only for its proximity to Bombay Ice Cream). Pakwan is THE best place in the City for tandoori. The naan at the Mission Pakwan is light and tasty but about the size of a modest dinner plate (Naan N Curry is way more judicious with the proportion of its naan but Pakwan has better food) whereas the naan from the Tenderloin Pakwan is burnt and doughy. The marinated chicken cubes are perfect, slightly charred on the outside from the tandoor and moist inside. I love their fish tandoori. Both come with sliced raw onions, quartered lemons and chopped parsley. If you go to the one in the Tenderloin, the windows are big and spacious, perfect for keeping an eye on your car and on the assorted crackheads and ho's milling about it. Other than that it's PAKWANTASTIC! Review #8623

Good food and great prices at this Tandoriloin stronghold. However, if truth be told, I prefer "Chutney" located just a couple doors up on Jones for both the food and the ambiance. Review #7527

Positive Cuisine: Pakistani Indian Tenderloin
I had a meal at the Mission location in November 2004 and it was cheap and good. It was less hectic than Naan 'n' Curry and the food is pretty much as good as the best of N'n'C (best N'n'C is the Irving location). The garlic naan was perfectly cooked. We had the Bangan bharta (eggplant) Pakwan style which was really yummy and the Chicken Masala which isn't my fave dish anyway, but this one was good. The mango lassi was thick and delish. Positive Cuisine: Pakistani Indian Tenderloin
I live near the one in the Mission and go there all of the time and love it. The food at the Tenderloin location is exactly as tasty. I had to use the restroom there and that was a mistake, but other than that, IT'S PAKWANILICIOUS Review #1628
