hmmm. in our quest to try new places in our basic area we tried sunday dimsum here today. The wait was pretty standard for a good dimsum place on a sunday about 20 minutes. I have to say it was all fairly substandard. Har gow was gooey. Siu mai was over cooked. The shrimp on tofu was probably my favorite. The next was a shrimp "wonton" kinda thing, it was actually perfectly cooked but it came with a side of mayo that was totally off...all lumpy and looked like it had been sitting out in the heat for the last few days. They came around with trays of food not carts which is fine except they came around with the exact same things for the 30mins we were there. Won't return any time soon. Review #19878

If you live in Sunset area, then this is the spot because there is no other choices around. It was ok, parking suck, always crowed, not bad price. Review #17196

My boyfriend is a dim sum lover, so I've been exploring dim sum places. This one is a dissappointment. The service is slow, and I dont see too many dim sum to choose from. We had to wait to get to the next course. However, surprisingly, this place is always packed. Review #16851

Really good dim sum, period. The har gow (shrimp dumplings) was juicy and filled with shrimp. The skin was light and not too chewy. The pork buns (char sui baos) were sooo hot and fluffy. The rice rolls have a nice texture and very tasty. Dinner is nothing special and I wouldn't recommend it. Review #8327

I think on a good day at the right time this is as good as dim sum gets in this city. the trick here is to understand that the dim sum changes with the hour and to get a rythem to the place...late morning mid afternoon lets you see a variety of food that spans the dim sum spectrum. the take out window is a great addition for hit and run dimsum. Parking is tough down here and lines long at the best eating hours. worth the wait! I just hope the sheep that love ton kiang never find this place. Down side dinner is overpriced hong king seafood style-not worth it! Review #3430

This is an good place for affordable dim sum in the outer avenues. I only had dinner there once but the pace was too frentic for me. the satff was busy and they were RUNNING around so much that I was dizzy and exhausted by the time I left. Stick to the dim sum. Review #1520
