“ I finally made it here for a slice of Pie. YUM. It is very similar to the Cheeseboard in Berkley, they do 1 Veggie pizza a day and they do it well. $2 a slice. I will be back to try more and also an assortment of their yummy looking baked goods. ”

“ It has become part of my family's tradition to get Thanksgiving dinner rolls from here. delicious. Their pizzas are tasty with different seasonal toppings. They usually have a delicious and interesting soup du jour. ”

“ pizza pizza pizza!!! Scones scones scones!!! Bread bread bread!!! Part of the Cheeseboard Collective and that's awesome. The pecan rolls are really nice, as is everything else. I've never had anything that I didn't like there. My only little insignificant complaint is that when you get a slice of pizza here, they don't hit you off with that little extra wedge like they do in Berkeley, but it's all good. Parking blows, as it always will on 9th, but the N Judah goes by there, as does the 44 I believe. Plus there is a bike rack in front.

“ Dropped by here in the morning on my way to work. My friend suggested the scones which were suppose to be yummy. they sure were yummy!!! i had the black currant scone and it was light and not too sweet just the way a scone should be and it wasn't dry like some of them can be. this is one of my fave bakeries by far and they use organic ingredients. another big PLUS! you gotta try this place out!

“ Everything here is just killer. Do not miss the pecan rolls and corn muffins or scones. On thursday they have walnut sourdough which is as good as any. Awesome feel and atmosphere despite being the size of a closet. ”

“ Wow. There's a reason there's a line outside this place (and its cousins across the Bay). The pastries (like Chocolate Thing, blueberry scone, hazelnut shortbread, etc) are to die for alone...but the pizza! They only serve one kind per day, but it's guaranteed to be delectable, and next to Pauline's, the best quality, most savory slice you can get in the City. Highly recommended.

“ You can see them bake their breads and everything! There are plenty of pastries and bread to choose from. I tried the brioche knot and it was inexpensive ($1.75).. ”

“ The only disappointments are when the pizzas are sold out ! Can't go wrong with their fresh-baked pastries and pizza. Check their website for the menu/ pizza of the day. I LOVE their blueberry muffins and mint chocolate chip cookies. *drool just thinking of them* ”

“ Stopped by here in the morning and I didn't know which baked good to chose from since they had so many that looked so good so I just went for the scone of the day, which was a raspberry scone. It was delicious! Not too sweet and there was lots of raspberries in it. I'll definitely go back and try the other baked goods and their pizza! ”

“ Very nice bakery. You won't find any cakes or pies - at least I haven't noticed any there, but lots of other interesting items. So far have tried a couple of scones which were excellent, but my favorite items were the cookies. Great shortbread, chocolate chip, and sugar cookies. Worth a visit. ”

“ Two words: corn scone. The cherries in the corn scones ($1.75) are tart, not overly sweet, and the corn tops are dusted with sugar to balance the tartness.
Can't find good coffee in the Inner Sunset? Arizmendi is your best bet. $1.50 for a medium.
Fresh baguettes are reliably always in store (though sometimes over baked just a tad), sold by the pound. Shortbreads to die for. Closed Mondays and closed after 7 all other days. ”

“ Let's hear it for the best worker-owned bakery in the Bay Area. I highly recommend the ginger shortbread and scones. Inexplicably, the cherry cornbread scones are better at Cheeseboard Collective in Berkeley than the 9th Ave. location. ”

“ This is the best bakery in SF! I can never resist going inside when I pass by for some of the yummy goodness found inside the doors. This place is has a very little seating with a bench outside if the weather is good. The only thing I don't like about this place, is that they're closed on Mondays! Where else can I get my yummy baked goods fix! My favorites are the Corn Cherry Scones and Chocolate Chip Cookie (available everyday) The daily pizza is also the best I've ever had. It's always veggie which is great for me. I sometimes wonder about the combinations, but they have always been great. Some other yummy suggestions are the Chocolate Thing, Brioche Knot or any of their hearty fresh baked breads and rolls. As an added bonus, if you have a MUNI Fastpass or get there by bicycle, you get a 10% discount! ”

“ This place rules. My favorite treat would be the brioche. It's not too sweet and has tons of golden raisins in it. And i know some people are anti-raisin but those people are just crazy. Also, the pizza here is awesome. The staff are always friendly which is a bonus. ”

“ The pizza here is really good. You can get it lite baked and finish it up at home.
I really like the focaccia they have in the cabinet up front. They are sold by the pound, so each piece will average about $1.50-$1.75. They are very flavorful.
The shortbreads are really really good too. The fair trade coffee is awesome too!
Everything in this place is solid. IMHO it's perhaps on the pricey side, but you do get what you pay for and it is well worth it. ”

“ Out of this world! Definitely one of my favorite homegrown bakeries. The neatest part of it all is that it's a co-op, so you know that everything is prepared with heart and soul. Very fresh and tasty baked goods. From time to time, I still venture my way across to the East Bay to its siblings in Oakland and Emeryville. ”
