“ My family has been going here for years because it is one of those great neighborhood restaurants where the food is consistently good and reasonably priced. I actually went here 2 weekends ago for brunch for the first time and I was a bit skeptical about brunch, but was pleasantly surprised. I had crab cakes benedict and it was absolutely delicious. We usually go for dinner and my favorite here is the filet mignon. Dinners are served with soup or salad, and I usually have the soup, but you can ask for a caesar salad instead of the house salad at no extra charge. The filet is served with garlic (not strong enough in my opinion) mashed potatoes, fresh vegetables and mushrooms on top of the steak. I like my meat rare and they never disappoint. Service has always been good when we are there. Parking is a bit of a problem, but there are a couple lots with meters just a block or two away.
