“
I would definately go back for the Chicken tikka masala and naan - some of the best I've tried in the city and I am a big fan of indian food. Disappointed with the veggie selection: spinach wasn't very flavorful or the eggplant dishes we ordered. Overall, very tasty and worth a try. ”

“ Naan N Chutney is one of the best indian restaurants in the city, the owners are freindly which is unusual because most places the people act like it will kill them to smile... the prices are pretty cheap for the amount of food you get and the atmosphere is very nice compared to your typical cheap city restaurant, a definate recomendation to anyone who is in the mood for some real good food, as far as the comment about the roach, I have been going there for almost a year and its really clean, i never seen anything unsanitary, insects can be anywhere its a part of life and as long as its not in your food whats the big deal??? ”

“ Had lunch here today and found it to be ok but nothing great. Fish curry was mediocre and not a lot of fish for a $9.99 dish. On the other hand the chicken korma was quite nice with very good flavor. Bengun Bhartha -eggplant was rather bland and not that good. A beautiful big hot naan was excellent and the rice was fine. My wife was a bit upset when she sighted a c***roach running about on the wall next to us. To me it looked to be a fairly clean restaurant. ”

“ The malai kofta is the best available in the Bay Area. The naans are excellent, but they lack a kabuli naan on the menu. Also, a larger vegetarian selection would be welcome. The reasonable price combined with the great food make this a winner! ”

“ I cannot figure out why people like this place so much. It is cheap, but so are many indian places at lunch. I think the food is generally flavorless with lots of oil. Even the rice, despite the great smell, is shiny and slippery. Both times I've eaten the food, I need to pour oil out of the dish. I do not like the mint chutney or tamarind sauce- a big part of indian food for me. The nann is ok. Perhaps the meat is better, but for vegetarian this place is lacking. Too many better places. ”

“ Inexpensive, great for lunch. They have good specials.
For dinner, there are better restaurants around the block, but a little pricier. This is a good option. ”
