This is a favorite chinese take-out in the neighborhood. I think of it as a guilty pleasure (kind of like fast food) as the food is really tasty but partially because they crank up the oil and spice factor. Not a healthy everyday choice but a real treat. Try the hot and spicy lamb and the hunan eggplant. Review #16406

I tried this place a couple times and so far its just OK. The hot & sour soup is VERY good. Tried some generals chicken which everyone said was thier thing. It tasted more like orange chicken, no spice and a bit too sweet. The potstickers were also a little dissapointing---maybe just cuz there were a bit cold cuz we got delivery. Generally speaking all the items i've tried were overally greasy and lacking flavour and spice (even in the spicy items)Its not the worst...but can't rave about it. Review #15047

This place has a great lunch special until 2:30. Everyone comments it seems on the general chicken and it is good. They have very good potstickers also. For me the test of a chinese restaurant is the soups. They have it down here with an excellent hot n sour soup. It certainly is on a par with some china town favorites like RS or Chef Jia's. We love everything here. It's a dive, but the food is yummy and they have some different, creative stuff, like the pine nut chicken with seaweed. Also, potstickers are great. Very friendly service. Review #9578

I have been eating at Thi Chi for about 15 years. I really love this place, I could eat chinese food 7 days a week. They are famous for their Generals Chicken. It is to die for. The best in the city, also their duck and orange beef is good. This is a great place for groups to go out for dinner, and the service is great too. Anytime I have guests in town, I always make a point of bringing them here. Review #7617

Great deal if you are starving and want some tasty hot hunan food delivered expeditiously to your home. For $20 bucks you get enough food for days. They have, in my opinion, the best General's Chicken there is in town. Really gooey and spicy and super tasty. I've been going to this place since I was 12 and it just keeps getting better. The veggies are crisp and fresh. The sauces are not overpowering. Portions are hearty and makes good leftovers. Review #1573
