Had brunch here with a couple of friends. Portions are very very generous. Too big for me. I had the Petaluma scramble. It had good flavor, except for the salsa fresca, which was a bit too watery and bland, even for my "mild preferring" palate. The decor was nice, like the paint colors. It was Sunday brunch, it was not crazy crowded like other places, which is a huge plus for me. The food was not "off the charts", but was plenty good enough that I won't be waiting in lines at other places in the area. You get too much food, so go hungry or consider sharing if you have a normal appetite and don't want to waste food or feel weighed down. The wait staff was very very nice and friendly and that always gets big points in my book. They actually seemed to want us to be there. Thing were picking up after we had slowly finished eating, and a staff person managed to, very tastefully and subtly, give us the cue they could use the table. Review #18571

The greatest burger in the Church/Market district. I go out of my way for this (add feta!). Great staff. Fresh, affordable and varied menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack. Big cozy and clean space with a few outdoor tables on a crowded sidewalk. Review #11618

I go here about twice a month with friends. The $5.99 cheese omlette is good, and you get two cheeses standard! The potatoes are kind of bland and skimpy portions of them. But you get a bagel too. Their iced coffee is good, and they give free refills on their coffees. Nice staff. Review #9967

I like the space, but the food was super bland. I was excited to have an alternative to Squat and Gobble, but it just was not up to it. The crepe are thinner than Squat's, which I like, but the crepe I had filled with avocado, tomato, cheese, salsa, onions, and mushrooms somehow had no flavor. Plus, my plate was piled with salad green, many of which were old and rotting. If I ended up there again I would try a sweet crepe, perhaps they are better. Review #5335

Although I'm not crazy about this place and have only been here because my wife loves their salads, the food is decent and they serve up HUGE (a bit obscene really) portions. Great place if you're looking to drop $8 on an omelet that will keep you full until dinner. Never tried their crepes so I can't comment on their namesake in good conscience. Review #4956

Standard breakfast menu that you see at Squat and Gobble and Creperie type places. Nothing too exciting, good salad greens. Nice outdoor seating for a sunny day. There are better brunch places close by in my opinion. Review #4943

I love the (huge and innovative) salads here, but in general I've brought many a friend on a budget who've sampled crepes (sweet and savory), omlettes, sandwiches, soups, etc and never heard a complaint. The portions are generous, especially given the price. Order at the counter style, with clean basic atmosphere. The only thumb down is for the halfhearted coffee. There's also another located on Irving. Review #1851
