“ Small popular spot on Cortland Ave, with frequently a line of people waiting outside, especially now with the new wine bar that just opened a block down. Pretty traditional italian cuisine at a medium price. The gnocchis were very good, just melt in your mouth, and gnocchis is one of those dishes that can be awful when it's not done right. The wine list is nothing special. I'd give it a half-positive if I could.

“ Was craving italian food. We tried this place as we were in the neighborhood. Very friendly staff. They serve fresh baked and still warm focaccia bread which was good. I started with the Mozzarella tomato salad. Tomatoes seemed like they were the wrong type to use. Were similar to a beefsteak slice that was under ripe and flavorless. Not enough vinegar either.
A friend had the lobster ravioli, which was rich and pretty good. I had a spicy penne dish with olives, which was OK. My husband had a seafood pasta dish which was OK. They had some nice wines on their wine list. Overall I thought that the dishes could have been better. They looked good, but taste and ingredients used was lacking. ”

“ being italian I am pretty spoild about gnocchi, their homemade gnocchi are the best in town ! I love the neighborhood
Update review
Went there with my birthday and that was the last time. Our guests were 5 minutes late and Valentina (the owner)was giving us a hard time, almost ruined my surprise birthday party. We won;t go back. Try gnocchi "Da Flora" and try pesto penne at Farina, much better attitude and food ”

“ Just ate there for the first time. Very relaxing, friendly atmosphere. Food was properly cooked and presented very nicely, but, as a rule, a little under-seasoned. Salt helped, but could have used more garlic and other herbs. Still, worth going back to try again. Biggest disappointment was the Panna Cotta for dessert, which was served with raspberry and kiwi sauces. The custard was delicious, but until we learned to dodge the sauce every bite was polluted with loads of seeds from the raspberry sauce. To their credit, as I mentioned this on the way out, the woman I spoke with was apologetic and handled it well - perhaps it will be better next time! 2 apetizers, two main courses, one dessert, one bottle of water - $62 not including tip - a little higher than what might have expected from a "neighborhood" restaurant. ”
